During a big delete-operation my machine shut down. After reboot most of the files are still present in the explorer and several of them cannot be deleted because the system does not 'find them' (message prompts for another path).

How can I force the deletion of a corrupt file/folder?

Regards everybody

Safe mode?
Recovery console? (if folder under \winnt or root of system drive - can change this, but..)
If fat32 filestore, from a win98 boot floppy.
Mount as slave in another machine?
