I am trying to change the data source on an existing crystal report from using ODBC to using Crystal Native Driver for SQL Server 7 and I get the following message: "Cannot open database" "File Integrity error". I am using stored procedures that have temporary tables in them and doing lots of inserts and updates. Actually after doing some testing I found I get the message if I try to update the temporary table. Can anyone help?

Thanks,
cgunkel

Thanks for your reply.
The problem I am encountering is a file integrity error message when I am trying to change the data source on an existing report that is using ODBC to using the SQL Server Native Driver. The report runs just fine using an ODBC but our needs have changed and we need to use the SQL Server Native Driver. When I try to change the report to use a native driver this is when I get the error message.
Thanks,

Hmmm, I've had odd behaviors akin to this.

Make sure that you have the latest CR patches installed, and if you're using SQL Server 2000 as a database, I don't think that you can use the Native connectivity, use OLE DB.

Thanks for the reply.
I am using SQL Server 7.
I have installed the following:
-Database and Export Drivers Monthly Hot Fix
-Crystal Reports 8.5 OLAP Files Monthly Hot Fix
-English Compiled Reports and Report Distribution Expert
I still get the same error message.

Do you have any other ideas?

Thanks,
cgunkel
