file copy across network

i shared the program files directory of an xp machine on network but when i try to copy files to the computer its says access denied. i also chage the permission on the folder to full control and i still get the same error

what am i not doing??

But did you change the permissions on the share to full control too? (are you using simplified sharing?)

The Program Files directory is normally set to Read-only access by remote users.

Pick a different directory. It is generally a bad idea to try and make a common directory from any users Profile, Program Files, or the WINDOWS directory.
