I did put this in yr other thread but on just number of packets look at sh int after you have cleard the counters. This will let you know the raw number of packets.
Otherwise download the Netflow engine from Cisco's web site which will log the output/input of the interfaces. You can get a demo for free but need to kick it every 8 hours.
You can clear the counters and after a few days just do a "show interfaces counters detail" and this should give you packet counts if you don't have any kind of snmp tools you can use .
Clear counters and Show Int, eh? That's what I was afraid of. If this thing was local I'd work with our SNMP guys but since it's in Beijing my options are limited.
