field rename problem 1

My database has several tables. I renamed some fields and now whenever I go inside to a table it asks me to enter what is the new field name to the table it is linked to. It does this by popping up a window which says enter parameter. Once I enter it works, but it never saves the changes, even though I press the save button. Now every time I open that table again it asks me again what is the new name of the field of the table it is linked to.

Does anyone know how to make this from not happening again?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Just a stab in the dark here Daniel,

If the table fields you have re-named are part of a join in the Relationships window, it may be that the fields need to be re-assigned there also.

Also check the "Control Source" property for any controls on any forms based on the tables where you have changed the field names. These will also need to be changed.
