* field in form view

Hi
I am trying to design a form to present data in a better way than in an Excel spreadsheet directly.
When the data is listed on the form, the final record appears with a * and a blank line, just like the new record in a table would apppear.

Is there a way to remove this?

Set to 'No'

Sorry, what do you mean by form?
I've tried right-clciking on a few areas an Data but none give me that option...?
