Has anyone tried to connect an MICS fiber port to a remote 0x16 fiber station adapter (NTBB41FG) by re-terminating one end of the SC-30 cables with ST connectors and patching it in to multi-mode fiber?

If so, what was the total fiber length?

Did you use a 6 port or 2 port fiber card in the MICS?

I am trying to save my customer the additional headaches and expense of having another active device in the loop.

Thanks in advance for any experienced help!!!

I'm not sure of the distance of the Fiber Modules by themselves but you might want to check these out. Bottom of the page- Module Extenders-
I am not sure where to buy them either but I'm sure a quick search on the internet should turn up something.

I have all the part numbers and pricing for that option already. From what I've read here, and from the responses from Nortel TS, I know it will work. I was hoping to find a passive solution.
