Good Morning:

This is my first time iam rolling out Windows 2003 server on my own, and i have to say that iam not an expert in this.. i need some suggestions for user settings customizing.

1. How to change the default file save location.?
For example when you open a new Word or Excel document and try to save. its gonna show the default location as "My Documents"

I want to show the default location as "Users Home Directory"

2. Installed Office 2003 using ORK.and how can i customize the settings for Outlook.
For example i want not to display the summary of email notifictaion. And also to disable the sound when a new mail comes in.

3.Also in Outlook 2003, how can i customize the calendar settings for all my users to be the same.

(Note: We still have Hosted Exchange Server by 3rd party.)

Thats it for now.

these are more Office questions....
so try the Office forum as well, they know their stuff too!

YOu can use Group polcy to redirect "My Documents" to user's home directory.
