Feezes on linking!

Hi,

I think my installation of VC++ 6 is giving up. The problem I am getting is becoming more frequent.

Sometimes when I press F7 to build my code. More often than not, the output freezes on "Linking.....".

I am unable to stop the build with Ctrl+Break (or via the menus). I have to shutdown the process in Task Manager. Next time I load the workspace it works fine for about two attempts, then the same problem occurs!!!!

Any ideas?

I think this may be due to the workspace getting older and older. For this a crude solution is delte the *.ncb and *.opt fiel and load again and u can see the difference in time(Fast)
