I have a PC/104 System with an ETX Baseboard. System boots fine to either Windows or Dos, depending on the HDD I connect to it. The problem is I get an error message on the boot screen that reads: "02B0: Floppy Disk Error. Press F1 to continue, F2 to enter setup". The FDD works fine cause it was the first thing I tested. Ribbon cable is fine too. If I flit the ribbon cable, of course the light will come on on the FDD. Does anybody have any ideas?

If the floppy drive works, then just turn off the 'halt on error' in the bios....

The base address for the floppy is conflicting with another device.Probably with the printer port.

May I add that the fdd works fine on another system; that is why I know it works. Conflict seems the best idea. In ETX technology, the fdd and the lpt share the same address. One or the other is disabled in the bios to make the other work. Any one else with this problem? and a solution?
