Fax Machine on CISCO 2600 VoIP network

Here is my router configuration

CISCO 2600
T1
4 Port(0,1,2,3) FXO - Connectd to 4 working POTS
4 Port(0,1,2,3) FXS - Connected to a Fax Machine on Port 1

I have one fax machine ported to new VoIP network which is connected to FXS, I can just receive inbound faxes on that machine but Can't dial out, any thoughts or suggestions?

Have you hooked up a phone on that line to see if you get dialtone with it? Sounds like some kind of line detect setting or something like that. If fax was in a PBX environment before it was hooked up to its own line maybe has outside line access number programmed in that is causing problems. Grab a phone and hook it up to the line....get better idea of whats wrong.

How do I change the outbound dial peers?


I already tried using Regular Analog phone, get the same thing.

But I tried one more thing, When I pulled WAN Link down, it could dial out but couldn't get anything incoming.
