fax into mailbox on CMM 6.3 howto

We just got a new CMM 6.3 and I noticed that it can be used for faxing into a VM-box and have it sent to someone's mailbox.

So,

I have enabled general fax options on CMM and created a VM box for my DID number with Fax Creation = Yes option and entered my email address.

Do I have to program anything else on CMM/CM ?
I have a coverpath to my VMbox as well....

Am I correct in thinking that the system answers the phone, detects a fax and sends it to my VMbox before it routes the caller to my phone ?

I cannot figure uit how to get this working - any help appreciated !

Make sure you enable IMAP4 and POP3 settings on the CM System admin page and it should work. Well thats what my vendor is telling me but I can't make this work either. I can get voicemail to email just fine but a fax wont go through. On my old Audix Intuity I can recieve a fax to my number just fine but not on the new CM 6.3. Good Luck!

OK, I'm going to have a try at this too.
I've contacted our vendor and they also say it's possible and that I can hire one of their techs for two days to get it running....

I believe each mailbox has to set up this option from their mailbox, not sure what the prompt number would be

You can go to option 5 in the vmbox and set fax options. We did that and it still won't work. My vendor told me to invest in a fax server.

If your vendor can get it to work then I would be interested in calling them for help too!
