I have recently purchased and installed a hp deskjet 932c printer, however when I installed it, it said it was successful, but when printing the demo page, it gave me (on the screen) a error. A fatal exception OE has occurred at 0028:00000003....I have looked everywhere but no luck in finding out which program is interfering with the printer. I called hp support, and they ran me through some tests, the printer will print doing a self test, and also on dos..just not anywhere else. Hp support said to go to the startup under the msconfig, and go through the startup files one by one, to see which one is causing problems...the ones I found were the load power profile and my 3com modem manager. When I try to print from wordpad or anything, I get the notepad I get the spool32 has performed an illegal operation invalid page fault at module spoolss.dll at 015f:7faf7a8d or the module will change to hpf9xdro.drv at 0001:00005212....
Can someone give me some ideas? It's been a week with this new printer, my old cannon worked just fine..just a little slower.
