What are you doing when it happens, what happens after it pops up, is it in the standard windows fatal exception box?
My mom seems to have a lot of fatal exceptions on word also, but the computer just doesn't like her. Have you tried reinstalling word or office or whichever? Are there other errors that you get, dll problems, etc...?
