FastT600 cache batteries

Good morning. Our FastT600 is reporting that the cache batteries have failed (seems the three year expiration in the docs is pretty accurate!).

My question - has anyone replaced such batteries themselves, or is it a job for an IBM technician? I have the FRU number, so my hope is that I can obtain the batteries, arrange a little downtime and swap them out.

Any experiences/views gratefully received.

I wouldn't do that my self if it happens to me coz the SAN disk is till under contract and if something goes wrong while i do that then it will be my responsibility
