will the fastrad work with a usb to rs232 cable adapter i did the fastrad upgrade and it says its completed but when i try to log into the rad with the remote access it says initializing com 2 then rad didnt respond. any ideas thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

If acewarlock's exerience is universal about USB adapters not working, I'll throw in that I've got a serial-to-ethernet adapter working just fine. Although it's more expensive, it means that I don't have to have a computer sitting next to the Norstar...
