fastest UNIX processor?

Hello. I am trying to find out what is the fastest UNIX server that can run Solaris or HP-UX. What we have is only 450Mhz and I want something more powerful. Any ideas?

Processor is not the only issue.
Depending of the use of your server, you may pay attention to RAM speed, Bus speed, Disk access time, Network bandwidth, ...

FASTEST unix server? My company has a HP Superdome server with 64 cpu and 256GB memory. It only costs around 200k US dollars, not too expensive. If you interested in it. Try to visit hp.com.

Well, if you get the Solaris on Intel build, you can run it on a P4 Xeon.

For running Solaris, the Sun UltraSPARC III processor runs up to 1.2 GHz. You can get it in anything from a single CPU workstation, to big monster multi-CPU servers.
