Failing on dynamic update from Win2k to redhat 1

I am trying to do a dynamic update of a zone on a Win2k primary zone onto a Redhat primary DNS server.
I am pretty sure I have everything in place. To check for errors I have been doing named -g on the Redhat box and fixing errors as they show up.
I am now receiving a message saying:

_msdcs.dynamic.com/IN from 147.24.221.43#53 failed while receiving responses: failed while receiving responses: permission denied

This Win2K machine syslog says that the Redhat machine came in and took the zone. But now the Redhat box does not allow the information back to the Redhat box.

Any suggestions?

ok first off, is this 2000 machine a domain controller, or a member of an AD domain?
