I have two G3si PBXs connected by a tie line (T1). From site A, I can dial the TAC of the tie line, then dial feature access codes on the B side. However, I cannot dial the TAC from site B then dial feature access codes for Site A. From Site B, when I dial the TAC, then the three digit FAC, I get reorder tone after entering the third FAC digit. I checked the tie line trunk COR and it looks ok. Where would this be blocked?

A little more background on this...I am using this to remotely record a SPECIFIC announcement from another site over the tie line. This is set up to prevent inadvertant recording of the wrong announcement. Each site is set up with a abbreviated system dial code, and the system speed button is configured on an individual's phone. The abbriviated system dial code will dial the following:

TAC+Remote access extension~p+barrier code~p+Abbreviated Dialing List3 Access Code(from FAC list)+Dial Code
(~p = pause)
Example: 3055432~p9876543~p10311

The remote site's System list dial code has:
Announcement Recording FAC~p+Announcement Extension
Example: System list dial code 11=123~p4345

If anyone knows of a better way to do this, please post it. Thanks.

You could try the remote acces number, make sure that number is in your UDP range Please let me know if the information that was provided is helpfull.

I get reorder tone as soon as I dial the third digit of the FAC when I try this using remote access also. We only recently tied the sited together, so there is no UDP set up.

Make sure that the remote access extension on site A has a COS with console permissions, you need it to record announcements.
