Hello,

In some parts of my forms when a user presses the F9 key to refresh the content of eg a combolist, Access crashes and shows a window indicating that there is an error, that the database can be repaired and restarted, and a proposal to send an error report to Microsoft.

Has anyone of you encountered the same problem and can it be solved through an (Microsoft)update?

thx

Marco

Roy, you love the /decomplie, eh? How many times have you recommended it? And, on another note, how many times has it saved my ass?

The answer to both questions, is several.

Thx for the info. I already performed the decompile option but without succes unfortunately.

In the answer of RoyVidar however I found a link to the Microsoft site "How to troubleshoot and repair a damaged Jet 4.0 database in Access". There it is explained how to find out which part of the database is corrupt and indeed it took some "elimination-work" to find out but I quarantained the corrupt form and now the F9-problem is solved.

So many thx.

Marco
