For some reason, the following folder (C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents) shows, in windows explorer, to have no contents. However, when I display the properties for this folder, it shows to contain one file (62 bytes). For some reason, this file will not display in Windows Explorer? I've got the option to "show hidden files and folders" checked.

When I scan the folder with my virus scanner, it shows the folder to contain "Desktop.ini", but it cannot scan the file because it is locked. When I do a search of the entire C: drive for all "Desktop.ini" files, it does not find this one.

I actually started the PC in Safe Mode, and the folder still shows to be empty.

Why can I not see this file?? Any ideas anyone?

Sounds a bit like this thread, see if taking ownership of the file will work for you.

Download Option^Explicit's Killbox.exe utility:
If you receive a message such as: "Component 'MsComCtl.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid." when trying to run TheKillbox, download and run missingfilesetup.exe. Then try TheKillbox again:
Type the full path and filename and see if it will kill the file for you.
