I need some help. I have a user attempting to use our company's portable "InFocus" projector with a Win98 laptop. As per instructed, I turn on the projector, and then the computer. The projector senses the computer's signal and displays. However, when I get to the initial login screen, I lose my display on the projector - every time. The signal only goes out for the initial boot sequence. Once we're "up and running", no joy.

I know this has to be a setting somewhere, but I can't figure out what or how to fix this issue. The projector is installed as a monitor, and the system settings show that it is functional - the computer just won't send it a signal. Any ideas?

Usually Laptops have a key combination to change the video output.

Find the Function key that has a tiny monitor printed on it, something like F5 or F6 and then find a key with the letters "FN" if you press those two together, the diplsay should toggle out into the projector.

That worked - it was actually words on the F3 button, but you supplied the general direction. Thanks so much for the help!
