User has a 6/16 with Flashtalk. Has a prompt in the CCR tree (#1) that transfers to a cell phone for emergency service. I got called sometime after the customer had a system bug and lost the norstar programming (defaulted, but the battery tested ok) and after they switched TELCO's ..

There's not much to configure in the 6/16 for the lines. and the ccr is simple to set up to. When we dial 1 in the ccr it says "the line or line group is not properly configured" or something like that. However, the flash DOES grab a line and dial the number, but it always hangs up after it dials the number, which is when it plays the message to the caller "not properly configured" ... There's no prompt in the line settings for supervision. (6/16, don't know what software)

Bottom line, it used to work ...

This has something to do with the telco switching right ?

1st company didn't have supervision on the line and 2nd one does, or vice versa ???

I did, there's no SUPERVISION prompt in the line settings of this system. I'm guessing really old software. (BUT, the flash DOES work, and the external xfer (via CCR Tree) did USED to work with their old telco)

Thanks for the input !

Then maybe the new Telco is not providing Supervision.

Justatec : Don't think so, the flash IS grabbing a line from the pool and dialing the number, as soon as it finishes dialing though, it hangs up.. If I put a bunch of pauses after the number, it will ring and ring and stay on the line until the pauses are over and it will then hang up and say to the person in the flash that the line or line group isn't properly set-up.

I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the supervision in the telco.

Thanks for the input !
