Hi everyone, I inherited our current setup and everything is working fine, that is why I am hesitant to experiment because god forbid these people can't see what Britney is up to for an hour :)

We have a T1 and soon to be a Cable Line. With the netscreen can I route all internet traffic over the comcast line and all VPN traffic to the branch over the T1?

On the trust side I have 3 servers. File, DB and Terminal. The terminal server is the only one that needs to be exposed to the internet. The file and DB servers are exposed (against my will), but they can be walled off.

Thank you all sooooo much!

Hi,

Yes, you can configure a route based VPN over the T1 for the branch sites. You would then advertise your default route via the Comcast. Regarding the need to expose servers to the Internet, you can setup a MIP with a policy to permit traffic.

Rgds,

John
