This one is stumping many people so far. Earlier today I switched our voicemail systems from mermail to Cisco Unity (not my decision). I've done 9 other sites without a problem. Everything works great internally, Unity functions just fine internally. However I am never able to hit Unity by calling it from the outside. If I call it directly or if I call someone's extension it just rings and rings. If there's a person on the other end they are able to pick the call up and we can have a conversation. For some reason the system just won't let an external call go to voicemail.

I've seen some errors come across at various times there's an AUD014 and err5306: digit dialed exceed maximum allowed/more than 10 digits received.

Any ideas out there.

might need cfxa in class on that one or check the cff/cfo option in the cdb

Distintive ringing was the problem here. Seems like Unity can only handle one ring tone. Thanks again for the help John.

never would have guessed drng could cause that, our cisco wireless has the worst ring i ever heard
