External PDM access ?

With Pix obviously having distinct security levles for it's internal and external interfaces, is it at all possible to access the pdm from the outside. I've created explicit rules allowing access from the outside to the pdm and it just won't work.

You must Add Your External IP Host to the PDM/Administration
on Outside interface

pdm location A.B.C.D 255.255.255.255 outside
http A.B.C.D 255.255.255.255 outside
and routing to Your Host
route outside A.B.C.D 255.255.255.255 W.X.Y.Z 1
where A.B.C.D is Your Outside Host
and W.X.Y.Z is Your default router connected to the PIX

did the trick.
