Hi,
Please can someone help i need to block an internal user from sending external mail in exchange 5.5.

Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks

The IMS has a Delivery Restrictions tab. You can add the mailbox of the person you want to bar in there, then they will be prevented from sending external mail (it will bounce). You have to stop and restart the IMS every time you make a change to this tab, which is a pain - so it's better to create a new DL, and add the DL to the tab. Then you can bar people from sending externally simply by adding them to the DL!

Blinding thanks very much, Simple when you think about it!
