THere isn't a way to run a form outside of Access without opening access. However, you can limit what tool bars are displayed, hide tables, queries and reports, etc and I think that there is a way to not show the Main Access window. So it is flexible in so far that you can limit tool bars, changing the splash screen that MS Office displays, etc and "fool" the user into thinking that Access isn't starting.
