We have renumbered a few extensions after an install ...
The names have remained the same in both manager and voicemail pro ....the calls get the proper greeting but through the Voicemail Pro Server I can see them get dropped to the "old" extension number that not longer exsists.

0:41:43 - Receive CLOSE for session 21055, call-id 0
10:41:43 - EndRecording
10:41:43 - New Mail Notify(1) Mary
10:41:43 - IntuityRecordNode - Sent recording to mailbox: "1001"
10:41:43 - Mailbox name retrieved=Mary new=35 old=0 saved=0

Mary's actual extension is 1010 which the phone that was called prior to getting her personal greeting the old extension was 1001 ....Extension and user is set to 1010

Manager
First name Mary
Full name Mary Smith
Extension 1010

Voicemail Pro :

Mary Smith

options leave and collect are default

Since We have never had to chnage an extension number on the fly this one is new to me ....thanks for any and all posts

VM Pro Uses Name not number for its mailbox processing so the extn number should not matter.

Does the user get thier Voicemail correctly?
if you now add a user 1001 as well does that work?

after extn rebnumbering or renaming it sometimes helps to restartt the VM & fource it to resynch with the IPO

No the user does not get voicemail she is extension 1010
use to be 1001 .... as the above post mentions I see this
on the screen of the Server :

11:15:52 - EndRecording
11:15:52 - New Mail Notify(1) Mary
11:15:52 - IntuityRecordNode - Sent recording to mailbox: "1001"

This is actually a SCN they are a secondary site ....
I am going to reboot all 3 things ( I know I had to do this when first setup)

Site 1 Main site with 406 (4xxx - 6xxx extension range)
running 2.0.18

site 2 small office edition with 8 phones (1000 extension range) running 2.0.18

Voicemail pro (Located at Site 1)
running 2.0.17

I had rebooted the Small Office edition when renumbering
saved IMMEDIATE ...
