extension in use # to configure

I have this message in some phones 1603,
but no phone is assigned this extension, I tried to remove the extension of the manager, and recreate it, but the message still appears, any help?

IP OFFICE 8.0
 
The phone has the extension in it's memory.
Clear the phone and enter the right extension number.
If it is a new phone then this was a DOA and got repaired and sold again (happens very often as there is nothing wrong with it and new)

the phone isn´t the problem, i logged the phone to different extension and has worked, in System Status i can´t see neither ip address nor mac address of the phone...
 
Check monitor too or reboot the system. Sounds like something got stuck.

i would think there is a problem with you DHCP but to use the phone before sorting out your DHCP issues were the phone asks yu for IP addr jus leave it as Zeros and configure your IPO add and Vlan if using any and reboot there you are forsing it to get IP from the IPO, try that and se if it helps
 
Make sure the extension exists (not the user) as a H323 extension.
 
I entered to the configuration dhcp, and the problem was there, the phone had the extension in his memory, i deleted the extension (user & extension) and ID, and reboot.
