Hi experts,
We have AVAYA G3R system with 3000 users’ extension. We have another new building where we are going to deploy new telephony system (not yet decided).out of 3000 users 1000 users will move to that new building on new telephony system. We have planned for ISDN Q.SIG trunk between Avaya to new telephony system. The problem is the Avaya PBX users will move in random numbers in other building and we have to route there extensions to the new building ,we are using Uniform dial plan this way I could do the routing easily but I have limitation of AAR route patterns .
So I thought lets x –port all the moving users extensions with the VDN in cover and the calls will route using vector towards the PRI Q-SIG trunk. The main issue we are coming across is the other end telephony system will get the VDN extension as CLI not individual extensions. Can some one suggest any other way or if VDN or vector can carry the called extension number over PRI trunk to new system so that the call will directly reach to the extension on new telephony system..
