Hi all,

Anybody who can tell me how to extend the period of the Time Out Warning and/or the period to automatic Logg Off?
Both are about 8 minutes. In my opinion it's a rather short time. I have BC12SP6.

Thanks for your time.

Hi,

Easy way is:
Go in RUN - Monitoring -
Set new Event
Text from target Exchange ( TIME OUT WARNING )
Send MML Command ( CADAP;)

This way you will logged in as long as you wish:
Whenever system sends you Time out warning, it will automatically be answered with CADAP or your choice of command...

Difficult way is: Patch on FAQ for BC11...Probably some genious guys here can translate for BC12...

Try the below patch after changing the DATA with your needed time (I didn't test it).

DATA=0384 app. 7.5 min. (Default)
DATA=0708 app. 15 min.
DATA=1C20 APP. 1 hour

what about "tracker" timeout ?

When you log on remotley,

eg.

ATDT xxxxxx
(password for tracker)
;ME

SSSSSS;

I think IT0, sets time out ?
or IT40 or IT10 ?

I sometimes get the tracker time out when doing a long print out ?

cheers
