I'm trying to get extension to extension dialing between a Nortel 1000M and an Avaya 8700 GW to work. When I get to the point of programming the Distant Steering Code the FLEN prompt does not appear. I have a feeling I need to enable something in the customer data block or configuration. Can anyone help. If I'm on the right path and have to enable a feature what impact could it cause to my Nortel.
