I AM WORKING WITH A TABLE THAT HAS TWO DIFFERENT ADDRESSES. ONE IS THE MAILING ADDRESS AND THE OTHER ONE IS THE SHIPPING ADDRESS. THE PROBLEM THAT I AM HAVING IS THAT FOR SOME CUSTOMERS, THE SHIPPING ADDRESS IS THE SAME ONE AS THE MAILING, OR VICEVERSA.

SOME OF THE MAILING ADDRESSES AR EMPTY, AND I HAVE TO UPDATE THEM WITH THE ENTRIES ON THE SHIPPING ADDRESS EVERY TIME I COPY THA TABLE. THIS INFORMATION COMES FROM ANOTHER DATABASE PROGRAM THAT IS USED BY ANOTHER DEPARTMENT.

IN ORDER TO MAKE MY LIFE EASIER, I WAS THINKING ABOUT DOING A QUERY IN WHICH I COULD TELL THE PROGRAMM THAT IF A SPECIFIC FIELD IS NULL TO FILL IT IN WITH "X" OR "Y" FIELD, THAT WAY THE INFORMATION WILL BE UPDATED AUTOMATICALLY.

I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO DO THIS.

COULD YOU GIVE ME INSTRUCTIONS? SUGGESTIONS? HELP?

THANK YOU
