I have a report with two subreports. I takes about 40 secs to open completely and when it does all of the information displayed is correct.

The problem I have is that, when I go to print, it gives me the above error, and the printed report does not show the contents of the subreports. This is rather annoying and I have spent hours trying to figure this thing out.

All three reports (main & 2 subs) are related to the same "part number." Anyone care to venture a guess or know what is going on? Cause it is killing me.

Thanks, Brambojr

Hi,

May I know what is the main report displaying and what is the subreports related to the main report, and do you disable any of the subreports in printing.
Please cleare that and let me know if you add any code in vb.

Good Luck

Ok, here we go . . .

The main report is listing the details of an employee pulling product for an order (location, time of day, Qty) and that's about it.

One sub report has the different configurations we have for the part involved (different box size/qty, desc, etc)

And the second sub report lists all of the inventory variances on the part since the time of the pull.

They display wonderfully on the screen with the correct information, but only gives me problems when it is time to print.

The sub reports CanGrow and there is no code behind any of these reports.

Would the fact that the report pulls information based on the entries on a form (now clear) have ANYTHING at all to do with this?!?! I'm dying here.

All other sub reports I have made worked easily.

Help, please. . . .

Don't Worry,

I have report with 3 subreport's and it's working fine in both view and print.
Do one thing, create new db and export your report and the form or query witch linked with it to the new db, then zip your db and send it to me to my e-mail, saam001@yahoo.com.
And let me know witch Printer you are using and wich paper size.

that time i can help you only.

Good Luck
