hi,
I have just exported a report to Excel and it seems to insert a blank row between each row of data.
maybe its something to do with my groups?
does anyone know how I can get CR to stop doing this??

If you do not require report header/footer, page header/footer, or group header/footer in excel, then suppress those sections in crystal.

Sometimes the section height causes Excel to add the extra row because of extra space beneath the field in a specific section.

If you are just exporting records to excel, then:

suppress any subsections, if they exist, for the details section in the report.

Try to make the details section smaller or use the fit section option by right clicking on that section.

I have sometimes found this to be a trial and error method to get the right formatting in Excel.

Good luck.

D.
