exporting subform data to excel template

I have a main form and a subform that i have working nearly the way i want, for reporting purposes i need to transfer the details to of the filtered subform to excel.

the main form is jobs
the subform name is run

feilds in subform are

id ref date reason from to km time beg end

In the excel sheet the feilds are as follows

date reason from to km time beg end

saying this i need some of the data from the main form to transfer aslwell including cl id and clnumb

any help would be appreciated

You may create a parametized query and export it with the DoCmd.TransferSpreadsheet method.

i would like to create a button that allows the user to click and it would export the feilds from the current record and the subform.
