Hello

I am wondering whether it is possible to run a query/macro in access and export the results into a specific sheet in an excel document. I'm sure it can be done, but i am a vba novice so will need some general guidance as to what the outline VBA code is.

Take a look at the DoCmd.TransferSpreadsheet method.

Hope This Helps, PH.

Thanls PHV - I have now found the command in help and will have a go later, but no doubt i will run into dificulties so you may hear from me again soon!

I personally wouldn't use Transfer Spreadsheet as AFAIK, it is still stuck on the ~16000 row limit as per xl95 - won't work for > 16000 rows of data.

Have a look into DAO / ADO and the COPYFROMRECORDSET function
