This is the first time that I have ever used Premiere. It is a pretty cool program. I have a movie that I am trying to export for the web.

Steps taken:
1. file
2. export
3. timeline
4. save for web
5. settings - QuickTime Progressive Download
6. choose either big, medium, or small movie

The movie exports fine except for one thing. The exported movie is horrible quality. It is very blurry and looks almost pixelated.

Am I missing something?

Thanks for your help.

First off, a lot of streaming looks like crap. It is all about finding the right settings that fits your particular video, so it is kind of a trial and error thing. Unfortunately, Premeire isn't your best bet.

Still render your project out in Premeire, only bring the finished avi, mpg, mov or whatever into another streaming program. Media Cleaner 5 works great. You can choose between Windows, Real, Quicktime, or other stuff like CD-ROM and DVD Mastering, DV Output and tons of others.

More cool ones, with less options of course, are Real Producer and Quicktime Pro.

Good luck.
