Hi There,
I was wondering if anyone else has seen this error or has this problem. Not much info out there on this.
We are using Crystal 9 and export to an Excel format(not data only) as an attachement directly to a Treo 650 with VersaMail and the latest version of DocsToGo from DataViz.
When attemping to open the Excel file on the Treo 650 an error message "Translation failed error 126" comes up.
The folks at DataViz say its a problem with email?
Here is the other half of this klouge: If the same Excel document is first opened with Excel and then saved on a PC and then emailed as an attachement to the Treo 650, it opens and displays fine.
It seems the problem may be with the way Crystal Reports is exporting the file with something or something missing that DocsToGo does not like.
Or is a a problem with the email system fuctions.
A ROM update for the Treo is in the way and we are hoping this solves the problem.
BTW: I have tried both versions on the crxf_xls.dll
10.0.5.737 and 9.2.1.684
Any ideas or thoughts???? Thanks in Advance.
Trent
