When playing exported avi from premiere 6 in assorted players, media, real, the edges of objects that have movement within the movie are not smooth or even blurred as they are within premiere. Rather, they are jagged with multiple horizontal lines, as if the interlacing has separated and is now very apparent. Processing these files all the way to dvd did nothing to improve them. When I reimport them into premiere they look just fine. I've tried many export settings but to no avail. I must be missing something, can anyone help?
Thank you

Sounds like interlacing artefacts. Have you opted for 'no fields' when exporting for computer replay?
