I need to give the HR manager a list of all NT account on our domain. Is there a way to export those users out of usermanager? Or can I open that database with another application that will allow me to export it?

Thanks,
Romy

There's a utility in the resource kit called addusers which has a function to produce a csv report of all user accounts. Of course, you could just use 'net user > users.txt' from a command prompt.

I appreciate the tip, but I am having trouble using net users from. What is the syntax I need to use, help didn't help me.

Thanks again.

From the NT resource kit, addusers.exe can dump all users from a domain into a text file.
Email me if you need the exe. ________________________________________

You could try DumpSEC (used to be called DumpACL) from .... it can not only dump all your users to a text file but also LOADS of other useful information... I don't work for them btw ;) ... I think it's free in fact (dumpACL was freeware)...

if you type

net user > users.txt

at a command prompt, it will create a file (users.txt) in the current directory in your command prompt.
