Export to Word loses column foramt

I have a report format in a 2 column "snake" fashion. When I export this to Word, it looks great. However, it is not actaully in 2 columns. Therefore when you add clip art it totally messes the formatting up. Is there anyway to maintain the 2 column format in this output?
