Export to Excel

We have an application that will only use Crystal Reports created in 8.0. I have a report that when export to Excel data is getting truncated. The preview in Crystal shows all data and when exporting to Word all data is export. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I sincerely doubt the premise that only crystal 8 will work. What type of data is it?

You should download the export drivers hotfix if it is still available for v8.

Database Sql2000, field is text, the application utilizes it as a memo field. I am unable to use this notes field in a formula because it is recognized as blob or memo field. After further researching, only 255 characters are being exported.

We purchased XI and when I use this same report and export from within XI, all characters are exported. But when I "attach" the report within the application, the cursor hourglasses and nothing happens, should get prompts for parameters.

Application is Goldmine version 5.7.

download the export driver hotfix. I own goldmine 5.7 and I guarantee you this works.

Clarification: Do this in crystal XI not 8.
