I am trying to export text using the Access Export data (Transfer Text or the command TransferText) but my final output is not what I want. I want no time stuff in the day/date section and no decimal point or anything to the right of the decimal point. My output table is set just fine. It just gets messed up when doing the actual exporting. Ideas are most welcome.

Here is an example or what I get when I open Wordpad after exporting.
3/24/04 0:00:00,597,1.00,24.00,0.00,1.00
3/24/04 0:00:00,597,0.00,0.00,0.00,0.00
3/24/04 0:00:00,597,0.00,0.00,0.00,0.00

Here is an example of what I would like it to look like:
3/24/04,597,1,24,0,1
3/24/04,597,0,0,0,0
3/24/04,597,0,0,0,0

Make a query that formats the data exactly like you want it. The Format() function has methods to custom-format everything, including dates and numbers and everything else.

Then once you have your query looking right, then use that to output to a text file.

The portion of date that is fraction is the time.

Thus int(now()) is date only and no time.
