Export station for button changes 1

I have an understanding on exporting from the switch using ADA. I have to ghange around the ACD feature buttons (login,Rel,work code etc.)I don't want to touch every flipping station form to do this. Or would Dup work better? Wisdom is Knowledge

I do not believe that on the ASA export/import function that it will allow you to change button designations. I know it will allow you to change most every other choice, which seems kind of odd to leave the button designations off.

One day ProVision will be available to the general public and we can finally put changes like this to rest.

Provision is a Avaya employees-only software product that runs circles around DSA/ASA.

Yeah, ProVision is for Avaya employees only. One function it has is that you can download the entire switch translation to your PC, reconfigure and then upload it back to the switch. Wouldn't that be beautiful to have?! Imagine making switch changes that are business effecting offline and then just uploading them after hours!!

As it was explained to me, Avaya (Lucent at the time) developed the software and did start offering it to the public. But Microsoft stepped in and started to threaten a lawsuit if they did not stop distributing the software because something about it infringed on some Windows copyrights. So a deal was struck that only employees of Avaya could have the software. Chalk another one up for Uncle Bill!!

Hi there,

The tool is also available for Avaya Businesspartners who have a Service Span Agreement.

May I remind you all that with ASA you can schedule programming as well.
Also you can create templates of extensions and they're with buttons and all.

ASA is no Provision but it's better then Terrible-nova.
