export from fireworks to dreamweaver transparent background

How can I export a .gif image to dreamweaver with the transparent background. In Fireworks has been design with the transparent background but when I exported to dreamweaver in gif, comes with a white background.
Does anybody knows how can I export this leaving the transparent instead of the white background???

I had this problem, you need to go to export wizard or export preview and select index transparency from the slection box menu. There is a pipette icon, click the colour (in small boxes) you want to be transparent then select OK(or Export- can't remember) and that's it!
