Ladies and Gentleman,

Is it possible to export user accounts and e-mail addresses from either Active Directory or exchange 2000 ? Can anyone tell me the best way to do this? I would be very grateful..

Thankyou,

Mark Allen.

HI.

From Active Directory Users and Computers, you can change the view (select columns), and then press the little "Export" button on the toolbar.

You can use the command:
CSVDE
on the server.

In any of the above, if the users have multiple email addresses, then you will need to play with the results in Excel or other tool. If you're looking only for the primary email address then it should be quick and easy.

Hi Yizhar,

First of all thanks for the reply, I now have all the feilds visible that i need to export, however if i can't seem to find the little export button you described.

I must sound like an idiot i know...

Is it on the actual tool bar on the Active Directory MMC ?

Thanks and regards,

Mark.

yes, it is on the tool bar - next to the refresh button. It looks like a sheet of paper with a black right arrow.
