Hi,
This could be the dumbest question in ages.
I have this report and want to export it to a text file. As the report is very big we want the characters to occupy less space. Now here is what i did:
I ran the report, hit export, and the 'paginate' dialog box appears. Default is showing 60. I click Next and then there is the dialog box, in which i can specify the number os characters per inch. I specified 25 and it was running fine. The second time i was running it, accidentally i hit the 'Dont Prompt me again' check box and now it never appears. :(
I tried a lot to locate if this options is available in any of the menus, in vain. Could someone help me please?
Any help is muc much appreciated.
Thanks,
Pavan

These type things are usually stored in the registry. Someone who is an expert on registry manipulation can help you.

Good Luck! [thumbsup2]

hi,
Got a way around to it. It is stored in a key called "DontPrompt". Deleted it and it works.
Thanks.

Thanks for the tip. I set it to default and don't prompt, after that it refused to do the text export. I changed to User Defined and crystal is again doing my text exports
