I'm looking at creating a new Scheduling application for Doctors & resources (rooms, equipment, interpreters, etc).
Doctors & interpreters will submit their availability months in advance. All equipment will be available unless booked out by their peers. To book a Doctor for an appointment I may need an interpreter and/or any other combination of resources. On a schedule the users need to see what Doctors & resources are booked.
Sometimes the users may want to book a resource continuously at the same time and duration for X weeks or months. So resources can be booked without Doctors but Doctors have to be booked with resources. Clicking on a booking on the chart, the users will need to see the booking details such as the patient details. Booking will be made in as small as 15 minute intervals. I need to write a multiuser app to cover this. I will be using Visual Foxpro V7 or 8. Now my ?
It seems that DBI Technologies scheduling active x controls(ctschedule.ocx) would be suitable. Any comments from satisfied developers?

Thanks in advance Michael Ouellette

I have used a lot of their calendar tools and in general they work quite well. I have not used their most recent relese however.

I will say that they are one of the few activex developers that actually test their stuff with VFP and can offer useful help with any VFP issues that come up. Most everyone else just says 'Well it works in VB!'

I bought their component ocx package a few years ago. I know that package worka but I want to make sure of matching my specific functionality before investing $500. Michael Ouellette
